For these reasons you should let Ralph W Earl help you through the process for the first time.

Are you the type of person that likes to get your hands dirty and learn how to do it yourself? No problem, the 80/20 Training Center is the right place for you. This educational forum is filled with animations and videos along with all the basic information you will need to begin using 80/20.
In the Training Center, 80/20 takes the time to demystify the process of building with T-slots and how they work to your advantage. The basics of the fastening methods are explained with video and 3D animation giving you a better understanding of how the fasteners work and which fastener is best suited for your situation. You will also find illustrations overviewing the assembly of each of the product classes such as dynamic pivots and floor to frame accessories to give you an idea of how each work and where they can be used.
If you played with building blocks, Legos, or an erector set as a kid then you are geared to use the 80/20 line of products. Go to the 80/20 Training Center to learn more on how it works.
When you’ve mastered the basics of 80/20, it’s time to take your project creation to the next level. 80/20 has developed AutoQuoterX™ design software that uses over 6000 parts and profiles to configure and quote 80/20 projects all on your own! You can download AutoQuoterX, as well as other great design tools, online for free or request your very own copy of the 80/20 Resource DVD!
AutoQuoterX™, an AutoCAD® plug-in developed by 80/20, lets you design, preview and create a bill of materials for your project in a 3D environment. You can add any number of 80/20 accessories as well as configure your own panels or custom parts. It also allows you to import drawings from non-80/20 suppliers and add them to your drawing and bill of materials as a custom part. AutoQuoterX is hands down the most efficient way to design with 80/20.
If you use other design software, 80/20 also offers a variety of drawing files for use with software such as Solidworks® and Pro-E®. These files are available in two different locations. You can choose to download them one at a time from 3D Content Central or you can get the entire library on the 80/20 Resource DVD.
